Welcome to GAIA

A common database of material stocks and flows. Designed as tool to support the work of the MFA group at NTNU and others interested in this area.

All over the world, resource availability and environmental pollution are topics of growing concern, but they are only partly accounted for in the current economic system.

In the GAIA database we interpret the data from different sources on the basis of our system definition.

GAIA today contains data related to iron/steel and Aluminium and is structured into three main areas: Flow table , Stock table , Coifficience.
